This outer carrier would of been great for Patrick O'Kane the former captain who moonlighted as swinger vampire! (No pun intended!) The back panel would have helped him in his standoff with New jersey police by clearly identifying himself to police. The chest pockets would have been great for him to store his BOP Issued service revolver along with his 6 shot speed loader! The vest is comfortable and durable and protects from abdomen slashing. Great vest overall!!!

I waited several years to order a new vest after my originally assigned one (of ten years) finally gave out. I was hesitant to purchase because all the dissatisfied reviews about the size and fit, but I couldn't wait any longer. I was so confident and excited to get my new vest after diligently measuring, trying on and accounting for the new inserts since my original ones had expired. I waited for the next sale, ordered and it finally arrived. It was so pretty and new and then I put it on. IT. IS. TERRIBLE!!! I ordered a XS/Small Short; I am 5'3" and petite. Not only is the vest small, but the neck hole is small and the pockets are small. I can barely get it over my head; I feel like I am being choked all day. My hands can barely retrieve items from the lapel pockets; my pen doesn't even fit in the pen holder! Just because the person wearing the vest is small; heads don't shrink, hands don't shrink, pens don't get smaller, and credentials are a standard size. DO NOT SHRINK every other element of the vest. AND make the carrier without a required embroidered name so they can be returned when they don't fit because it seems to happen A LOT (read the reviews) !!! We have to order form this company as it is the only approved vendor. DO BETTER and PLEASE! listen to your customers!!!!!
