Not lying when they say light as F*

I'm in the NE. It's cold, its wet. I was worried at first about the ability to breath bc that means cold air can come into the shoe too. I'm hot natured and my feet sweat, that's why I wanted these. With normal socks, walking in the snow, I was fine. Not cold at all. Yes, at times I could feel a breeze but again, I have hot feet. If YOU have cold feet, these probably aint for you in the winter.
Now, for the only negative thing I have for these after wearing these for 2wks. It got warm. So, it rained all day, and I had to walk the fence. I went into the grass that was wet, no puddles, just a wet ground. And my feet were getting wet. So, there is ZERO protection from water. I wasn't in tall grass, even a puddle, just a wet ground got my feet damp. I did go to a puddle on pavement eventually, and it was probably a quarter inch deep. I felt the dampness from that small puddle too. So, I'd say do not wear these in the rain, you'll get a drenched foot for sure.
These boots didn't need breaking in for me. Comfortable from first time. Again, light as F&@#!! For a size 13- 1lb 2oz for 1 shoe. The zipper does not have material where it is connected to both sides. Making it bunch up when you zip it up. I hate those boots!!
I will be getting the H2O boots for a backup rainy day shoe. Since I like these that much. Unfortunately, they only come in black. Coyote tan just looks better with our uniform.
Overall, I love them and no I do not regret them.

first tactical 1 generation boots tan

I have been wearing tactical boots since 1997 from the police academy through active duty infantry deployments and boots to me are a big deal. working in corrections boots get trashed because of the constant walking and running. the 1st generation first tactical boots came in clutch in durability and comfort three years of wearing the same boots and its time to try the aero tac hopefully you guys knocked it out of the park with these ones thank you all for a great product and your customer service is top notch
