If you are like me and tend to run on the warm side most of the time. this jacket is perfect. It's thick enough and breaks the wind enough that even in 20-degree weather I stay warm. Water resistance is top notch. Its shape is great if you wear any kind of body armor. It tends to be a little wider in the mid-section and allows room for the vest without being overly tight. multiple large pockets. and side zippers if you are packing.
