Sizing is weird

I, like many other women I know, like to wear my pants quite high waisted. It keeps me feeling secure and stops my shirt from coming untucked when bending down. These pants, however, are very low cut for my liking. In fact, they seem to cut into certain areas where I feel the most comfort is required...The sizing was also off. I should have sized up because the first time I put these on, I had to lay down in order to zip them up. Other than those two very big issues, the quality of the pants is nice. The water resistant fabric has been very useful during hurricane Debby.

PANTS RUN SMALL GO UP A SIZE.

Mixed thoughts on the sizing of women's pants

I ordered 16 in V2, I couldn't even button them, legs fit loose, they seemed a bit baggy and I wear Regular 14-16. I was told that A2s are better for summer/warmer weather so I order 18s in A2 instead of V2- same size chart (thinking they would fit alright as they are the SAME size chart) and they are like wearing BALLOONS. The legs are so HUGE, the crotch sags LOW, and the length of the legs are NOT regular, they are 4" longer. But the waist fit better (kind of loose) as I could button them. I am NOT huge, I'm 5'4 195 lbs. Very disappointed that these pants are not made to women/mother physique. Cost and extra $$ to have a seamstress take out INCHES of fabric from the crotch area and fit the legs along with hem up the bottom. I should NOT have to do this and Im stuck with a pair of v2 14 & 16's that's past the return window that don't fit in the WAIST.

Very comfortable

I've always worn 5.11 pants, but these are just as comfortable! Maybe even a little more comfortable than the 5.11's! However, I had to buy a few different sizes to find the right fit (which wasn't cheap!!) Most people say they run small, but I think they run true to size. I am pretty short, 5'3" and the regular length doesn't drag on the floor. They move with you which as you all know, is a HUGE plus!
